The Under 9 Team took part in their first festival at Beversbrook in Calne, and for many it was their first ever taste of a cricket match. Proudly displaying their new match shirts sponsored by CE Bricklaying & Construction, the newly formed team found their feet in the first match against Calne. They managed to secure a win and then dominated in their second match. However, after a great first innings with 4s and 6s flying, the experience of Avebury was too much. This however did not dampen spirits and they left holding their heads high, excited for the next festival at Burbage Cricket Club in a weeks time.
